This building dating back to 1954 was thoroughly refurbished in 2009. Within the framework of these modernisation measures, underfloor heating was required with a 5 cm installation height including impact sound and thermal insulation. The solution: R50® surface heating offered by SCHÜTZ. 16 residential units and a small retail outlet with a total living and useful area of 980 m² were fitted with the system.
Thanks to the low flow temperature of approx. 32 degrees, this also enabled energy in the building to be reduced by approx. 70%, giving rise to very low utility costs for tenants and enhancing the value of the building.
