SMP (Surfaced Modified Plastics) odour barrier by SCHÜTZ
The patented SMP process puts an end to oil odours and leaky pipes. Both the inner tank (inside and out) and the accessories have an odour barrier that permanently protects the system against absorbing heating oil and thus against odour escape. All SCHÜTZ heating oil tanks are equipped with SMP.
Thanks to the low consumption values of modern oil heating, the requisite tank volume is also lower.
Large, now ageing tanks are often much too big and need to be replaced.

The double-walled TANK IN TANK systems by SCHÜTZ are fire-proof, dimensionally-stable, odour-proof and can be positioned close to the heat generator.
The effectiveness of the SMP method has been confirmed by the Fraunhofer Institute in Freising within the framework of extensive series of tests and is subject to ongoing testing.
